Inspiration

Took our granddaughters to Fredericksburg and Kerrville this weekend and on the way back we passed a large steel sculpture of a steer. We've seen it many times but this time, I stopped to take a picture, and the sign said Benini Gallery 5 miles. Although we were tired and ready to go home I thought ''We may never pass this way again'' so we went down this old road which turned into a bumpy unpaved road that took us to the most awesome and awe-inspiring sculpture gallery, the Benini Foundation Galleries, Sculpture Ranch, 377 Shiloh Road, Johnson City, Texas, 78636. The last sculpture is entitled Mother Guardian and Father Guardian (my favorites). The one before that is entitled I Could Have Danced All Night. Here are a few photos . . .
