Mosaic crosses -- I've been busy

Shipped today; so HEAVY!  These are set in mortar and sealed for the outdoors.  Next, two more guitars and a vase, plus gearing up for a class and the succulent planter I've been wanting to do for myself.  Sitting here debating about ordering MAC glue; I want to continue using it so badly, but it's now priced out of my comfort zone.  It's not carried locally any longer for that very reason.

  1. Soo pretty! You have been busy!
It seems like we should be able to do something to Weldbond to make it Mackish, doesn't it? Not sure what, If I figure it out, I'll let you know!

  3. Really busy! I did a fairly large peacock in 3 days. Now I need to grout it. Have a small tabletop ready to grout too.

Am waiting till I get the 3 Buddha's done before I grout.

Since I hate grouting I try to do it all at one time.

    GREAT JOB LADY!!!

  6. No, last time I was there (about 2 months ago) Jim said the price just made it not feasible for them to carry any longer. I finally reluctantly ordered one 8-oz bottle direct from MAC and with tax and S/H it came to over $31.00. I am switching back and forth from thinset mortar to Weldbond to GE Silicone II and I'm guarding the one bottle of MAC and will eke it out when nothing else will do.

  7. The price is the very reason I don't use Mac Glue either. I have ONE bottle that I hoard for special use Only. :(
