Fused Glass

I am attending a fused glass class at Helios Glass in Austin and I am excited about it. We go once a week, for two hours each class. The instructor is very knowledgeable; he lectures for the first hour and turns us loose for the second hour. We made three tiles the first night, about 3" x 5", and several pendants the second night. Next we will make two 6" x 6" tiles. So much fun. Beautiful stuff, and it opens a whole new world! Now I want a kiln . . . thinking about the cool tiles I can make. So much fun. But I must focus on the stairs . . .
